Shopping Streets

I found out that I am quite liking the new place. My hubby and I checked out the neighborhood, and so far so good. There’s everything around us, and I kind of feel blessed. (chuckled)

Anyway, we went for a stroll at the longest shopping street in Japan, that is, the “Tenjinbashi-suji Shopping Street” with the total length of 2.6 kilometers, a distance that covers three subway stations. Imagine walking the whole length of it, but since I can’t walk that much (I don’t know, I just don’t feel myself lately), we just walk half of it (I guess?). There were basically nothing much from what we saw, and I kind of got the idea why this place never beat the crowd at the Shinsaibashi-suji Shopping Street. Maybe their main target is the elderly, if compared to younger generation in the Namba area. I mean, long johns for grandmothers or promotional hand sanitizers for moms don’t really attract the younger shoppers, do they?

But it was cool, even walking half of it. Nice weekend outing. Gotta do the walking before I couldn’t soon!
